Trench Backfill (FA6)

Common Names: FA6, Backfill Sand, Fine Aggregate 6

Size: Fine particles, typically < 3/8 ″, well-graded

Uses: Used for trench backfilling around pipes and utilities, under concrete slabs, and for general fill. Offers good compaction and drainage properties, making it ideal for construction and utility work.

FM-20

Common Names: FM-20 Sand, Washed Concrete Sand

Size:Medium to coarse sand, typically 3/8″ minus

Uses: Used in concrete mixes, as pipe bedding, backfill for trenches, and for grading and leveling in site prep. Its consistent size and cleanliness make it a reliable option for structural fill and compaction.
